ABOUT CAREWAY
Careway is an ACC-funded program that offers injured New Zealanders better and faster access to quality healthcare services. You will receive the care you need, when you need it, at no cost to you.
Careway is designed for individuals with knee, shoulder, or spine injuries who need specialized treatment beyond what a GP can offer, benefiting from an orthopedic surgeon and physiotherapist.

ACC covered treatment has zero co-payment for all children aged 14 and under*.
INJURY CRITERIA
ACC Knee Injury
- Torn Ligament or Other Internal Derangement
- Fracture or Dislocation
ACC Shoulder Injury
- Tendon Rupture or Labral Tear
- Fracture or Dislocation
ACC Low Back Injury
- Disc Injury Resulting in Leg Radiculopathy
- Lumbar Fracture
